Three ways to enjoy it all summer long.

Poutine deserves to be celebrated

July 09 2026

Some classics never lose their edge. Poutine is one of them.

As for where it all started? That's still up for debate. Drummondville? Warwick? Who knows? One thing's for sure: Centre-du-Québec can proudly claim one of Quebec's greatest culinary icons.

And since every legend deserves its own day, World Poutine Day was born in 2020. (And honestly, we’re totally here for it.) To celebrate, we're putting three of our all-stars in the spotlight.

Smoked Brisket Poutine

The rookie of the year. She may be the newest player on the roster, but she's already become a fan favourite. House-smoked beef brisket, red cabbage, carrots and cilantro bring plenty of character to the table. Safe to say she's already earned her spot on the first line.

Buffalo Chicken Poutine

The power forward. Crispy chicken, Buffalo sauce and blue cheese. She comes out flying from the opening faceoff and brings just enough heat to keep you on your toes. The kind of player who's never afraid to finish a hit.

Classic Poutine

The team captain. There's a reason she's still leading the lineup after all these years. Crispy fries, Kingsey cheese curds and our house-made gravy. She doesn't need to reinvent the game—she wrote the playbook. A first-ballot Hall of Famer, no question.

One day to celebrate poutine is great. A whole summer enjoying it at La Cage? Even better!
