La Cage's new menu, which is based on freshness and local products, is a true reflection of the latest dining trends and allows local producers to play a significant role.

  • La Cage – Brasserie Sportive is the first chain to join Bœuf Québec, which ensures that all beef plates served in its restaurants come from local beef producers.
  • Chicken served is also from the Quebec province, thanks to a partnership with Exceldor.
  • Tomatoes which garnish La Cage plates are grown by Savoura and Saint-Arneault supplies our french fries which are made from potatoes grown at Ile D’Orléans, while the brioche bread that is on the menu comes from Au pain doré.

La Cage also offers a large variety of beer from Quebec-based microbreweries. Two exclusive beer brands – the Réserve and the Groupie – have been added to the Griffintown Montréalaise and the Goudy, which are offered in our establishments. Three beers made by Canadian microbreweries are also part of our local selection, as well as six imported beers.

Several plates have been added to the La Cage menu - including tartares and a poke bowl – and others have been enhanced. The 46 La Cage establishments offer a new, fresh and local menu that is prepared by a passionate and qualified staff. Bon appétit !
